IBUSHI KAWARA TILE

Smoked Kawara is the material used for roofing in Japanese architecture for many years. This Ibushi Kawara Tile is a newly developed material based on the traditional Ibushi (smoke) technique that has been continued for 2000 years. It is also used in the Himeji Castle, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is fired in the kiln for four days, and its uneven surface makes every piece a unique and beautiful expression. The various ways of use, such as the interior wall finish, the part of the products like mirror frames, or even the artistic wall decorations, help create a whole new space.
