About the glaze:
The surface of the glaze, which is glassy, shows cracks. This is a characteristic of the glaze and does not cause problems to use.
In addition, stains from coffee, tea, or other beverages may penetrate the joints of the glaze and become noticeable. We hope you will enjoy these changes as you use the plates day after day.
About glaze burn:
Another characteristic of glaze is that thin applying areas become burnt in the kiln. Especially, uneven surfaces and edges often show scorching because the glaze flows over them and becomes thin. Considering such unevenness as "scenery" is one of the ways to enjoy pottery. The handmade plates also allow you to feel the power of the material through their expressions.
