It can be used as a lid mainly by covering the grater (ginger) and mortar of the SITAKU series. When used in combination, it can be stored for a short period of time. You can also use it as a small plate.

This porcelain lid /plate was made in Hasami, a small town in Nagasaki Prefecture, known as the birthplace of fine Japanese ceramics. It is one of a series of porcelain objects created by Makoto Koizumi, one of Japan's leading product designers, in collaboration with the popular Japanese ceramics brand Kihara.
Before using, recommend putting the porcelain to water or warm water for more than 10 minutes to avoid the ware gets oily or dusty.

Hand wash is recommended to keep the product in good condition for a longer period.
