Tenugui is a traditional rectangular towel made of 100% cotton that is steeped in many decades of Japanese history. The Japanese word “te” means hand and “nugui” describes the aact of wiping. Apart form using this traditional towel for wrapping ones head like a bandanna, it can also be used to wrap gifts, as a decoration for the home. Of course you can use tenugui as a kitchen towel or table napkin. Tenugui is a very durable fabric. We are pleased to introduce to you, this multi functional tenugui that will bring Japanese elegance into your daily life.
Kanoko means fawn in Japanese. This traditional design patterns came from fawn’s white spots on their back, very simple and elegant, so why loved by people many decades without any changes.
This tenugui uses nassen method of hand-dying.

Care & Use
- Washer-machine safe, however For best results, please wash by hand in cold water with a washing product that does not contain bleach or a bleaching agent, and wash separate from other garments or fabric.
- Do not tumble dry; but simply hang to dry in the shade. Tenugui dries faster than other kind of towels because of their unique processing.
- If you need to, a warm iron can be used.
