EMBROIDERED Japanese Kitchen Towel
Give your Kitchen a fresh new look with the embroidered Soft durable kitchen cloths, ideal for every day use.
”Kayafukin” is a Japanese word for “mosquito net dish cloth”. ”Kaya” is “mosquito net”, and “fukin” is “dish cloth”. This item is manufactured in Nara prefecture with retro-sounding shuttle weaving machines, rhythmically clanging each weave. Craftsmen oversee each machine to make sure it is tuned ideally. The Kayafukin weaved in 8 layers, allowing the fabric to be broken down easily. This characteristic makes the fabric softer and gentler after each use. The embroidery is designed by popular children’s book Japanese artist Machiko Miroko. Durable and cute design, the Kayafukin is a wonderful item well appreciated as gifts.
